What You Can Expect From Our Pregnancy Calendar

Our detailed week by week pregnancy calendar is based upon the 40 week timetable, in which you actually fall pregnant in week 3 of your pregnancy. Your due date would then be in week 40 of your pregnancy according to the calendar.

* For more on how your due date is calculated, please see our Pregnancy Calculator article.

Each Weekly Pregnancy Calendar Article Covers:

Yours and your baby's growth: How your uterus and your baby are growing in size.
Your baby's development: How your baby is developing and changing inside your uterus.
Changes in yourself: What is affecting you such as: pregnancy symptoms and common complaints.
Nutritional information: What you should be eating and what you shouldn't be eating during your pregnancy.
Complications: Possible complications that both you and your baby may experience during this pregnancy

Don't forget that our site also has a baby development section for when your baby is born. We will take you through the first 12 months of your new born baby's life in a week by week format and cover all the important aspects, such as:

  Baby milestone development
Games to play to help your baby develop
  Feeding your baby
  Caring for your baby
  And much more

Be sure that you look at our baby development section once your pregnancy is complete.

Returning To Work Post Pregnancy
Some women are lucky to have lots of time off after having a baby, while others need to go back to work as soon as possible. No matter how long a maternity leave you may have had to spend with your baby, going back to work can be a hard transition...one that you are not looking forward to making.

Great Breastfeeding Tips
Although breastfeeding is a wonderful experience for you and your baby, it is not one that comes without hardships. Breastfeeding at first, can be very difficult and hard to commit to. It doesn't have to be this way though.
