November has a great group going figured we needed one too so we can keep updated on each other and talk about our babies.. I love talking about my Moose lol

At his 2 month check up he was 15 lbs 5 oz 23.5 inches long 97% for weight 55% for height

He now takes prevacid for his acid reflux instead of zantac.

I just started giving him rice cereal once a day.. he was up to 5-6 oz every 2-3 hrs and was starving for something more. The cereal has pushed him to 3-3.5 hours

He now has slept threw the night 2 nights in a row!!!

how is everyone else doing?

Hello everyone! Max is doing great! He is such a mommy's boy and I love it! He will be 14 weeks this coming Tuesday and at his last appt at 11 weeks he was 12.1 pounds and 23.25 inches. 30% for height, weight and head, pedi said he is perfect for all 3. He has grown more since then because he now wears size 2 diapers.

He is such an awesome baby, very laid back and takes life in with his big beautiful blue eyes.

Sleeps between 8-10 hours at night and always wakes with a smile. Eats between 5-6 oz every 3-4 hours no cereal yet since he sleeps so good.

Easter Bunny pics today and I will post them.

I have really been blessed by God!!!

Elliott's doing great as well. Probably pushing 13 pounds right now. Last time he was weighed was when Luke took my cat to the vet. He was 12 pounds on the dot. Yeah, I'm a little pissed off he weighed our baby in a germy pet scale, but still funny that the cat weighed more than my baby (cat was 13 lbs).

Elliott is pretty much on a schedule now. Eats at 6 am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, and 10pm. Eating 7oz of boobie juice at bottle feedings. Still no cereal, I don't think he's ready for it yet.

He loves to stand - I think he'll walk before he crawls - and he loves his jumparoo. Sleeping all night from 10 til 8 or 9 (with the 6am feed in between). Laughing and giggling is his new thing.

Oh, and he is such a FLIRT! If we go out, he smiles at all the ladies, but not the men. That's my boy!

Layla is doing wonderful. At her last doctors appointment on Saturday which was a sick visit, she weighed 15.8 lbs and was 24.25 inches long. She has been eating cereal since she was a week old because she just wasn't getting enough and I have now started to put about 2 baby spoon fulls of fruit with the cereal. She loves it. She is sleeping pretty good through the night. We have had 2 nights where she made it all the way through. She usually goes down around 9:30 and sleeps til about 5:30. I don't think that is bad at all. Her hair is growing uncontrollably and it stick straight out in the back. I am praying that she doesn't lose any of it because has so much. Other than that, she is a happy baby.

Here is the most recent picture of her!!

Jay at his last drs visit the 2mths injections, he weighed in at 16.8lbs 24.5" long. he has cereal once a day at supper time and as some have seen the vid laps it up lol, ive just moved him over to his crib cause hes out grown his bassinet and last night was the 1st night, hes been crying for his sucky which drives me nuts cause i have to keep getting up. so i put him in my bed next to me and the lil git fell straight to sleep and didnt hear a peep out of him for the rest of the night. hes drinking a full 8oz and is wanting more within a few hrs so i might up his cereal to twice a day. Hes going to meet his other brothers tomor for the 1st time (dads other boys) need to try to get him to go down earlier to sleep at night, *zombie walking my house* hehehe

At Ruby's last appt bout a month ago she weighed 11 lbs, 22.75 inches- last time I weighed her she was at 12 lbs. Still on strictly boob juice. Not sure how many ounces but eats every 2 hrs during the day. Goes to bed at 10:00pm and wakes up at 8:00am w/ 1 feeding during the night. A few times she's gone the whole night. Will probably start giving her food in another month or so. Everyday she talks more and more. Loves to belly chuckle w/ Daddy. She loves to stare at Daddy's guitars on the walls so he's hopeful she'll be a rocker :-) All in all she's a pretty good baby. Absolutely detests the bottle. I need to start working with her more...so then I can get a break.
Let's see what else... I think she has allergies, very congested so she sounds like a pig most of the time :-) Might have to start calling her Ms. Piggy. Oh and she has cankles :-)

Yay...I love hearing about all the babies =) On April 8th (11.5 weeks) I took Isabella to the doctors because I was worried she may have thrush. Anyhow, she weighed 15 lbs 4 oz, and was 24.41 in tall. She's still being exclusively breastfed, doesn't seem hungry at all after feedings. When we're visiting her dad she sleeps really well, about 4-5 hours, wakes for a feed, then another 4-5 hours...but at home, she only sleeps about 3 hours and then 2 hours at a time...but last night was bad...she woke almost every hour after the first 3 =(. Other than that...she's doing great. I had her ears pierced on the 5th...she looks sooo cute with them! Oh, and I'm thinking of having her compete in a beauty pageant in June =)...If I can get a ride there...

April 5th @ a baby shower, after her piercing =)

At Garrett's two month appointment he weighed 14lb and was 23 3/4inches long. He is still just on the boob...I didn't know about the rice cereal, someone want to explain to me about it? Anyways, Garrett falls to sleep at 9:00pm almost every night, then wakes up at 2:30ish for food the falls right back to sleep until 5:00am. After that he wants to stay up and party! He has not once yet slept through the night..I hope he starts soon!

3uras1an she is gorgeous, I wish I could have gotten Chloe's ears pierced. Mike wont let me

Youngmomm12, rice cereal normally is not suggested until they are 4 months old. Gerber.com can give you all the guidelines for how and when to introduce it as a first food. Most babies do fine until they reach 4 (some even 6 months) on just breastmilk or formula.. Some babies get very hungry though and require a little more substance. I think it is the call of the Mother as to when to introduce solids.. Only a Mother knows her baby so well.

example My Michael.. wants to drink a formula bottle 6 oz every 2 hours during the day that equals into about 48 ozs since he sleeps threw the night 8 hours straight. When he gets his bottle I can hear it hit his growling stomach.. so I know he now needs rice cereal. If your baby is eating normal and fine and not showing signs of wanting something more then you are still fine.. Read up on Gerber.com so you know when the time does come you are informed of what you will need to do exactly!

Important Cloth Diaper Basics
hanks to the recent "green" way of thinking, people are starting to look more seriously into alternatives to disposable diapers. Cloth diapers have come a long way over the past decade and are nothing like the cloth diapers of the past.

Returning To Work Post Pregnancy
Some women are lucky to have lots of time off after having a baby, while others need to go back to work as soon as possible. No matter how long a maternity leave you may have had to spend with your baby, going back to work can be a hard transition...one that you are not looking forward to making.

Great Breastfeeding Tips
Although breastfeeding is a wonderful experience for you and your baby, it is not one that comes without hardships. Breastfeeding at first, can be very difficult and hard to commit to. It doesn't have to be this way though.
