uterine contractions when you breast feed. It is normal for your breasts to be full, engorged, sensitive
and to leak Your bottom may still be sore if you had a natural birth Your muscles may still be sore and stiff Should you develop a fever, call your doctor. If you should develop any red streaks or hard spots on
your breasts call your doctor If your bleeding gets heavier or if you should pass any
blood clots, call your doctor
What you should do
Rest! As much as you can, when you can. It is normal to cry after your pregnancy Ask your mother or a close friend for help Make your first appointment to see your health care provider Make your 6 week post partum appointment Have your baby added to your Health care policy Involve your partner in the daily routine of caring for
your baby.
